Who am I?
Greatings! My name is Edoardo, but you can call me Ed.
I have recently managed to obtained my bachelor degree in foreign cultures and
linguistic studies and I am continuing my studies in linguistics
and waiting to get a master degree, in a few words: I am a student.
I like languages and I am able to communicate in English, Russian, maybe German and Italian.
I am also really slowly learning how to code in different languages:
mainly shell scripting, Python and Latex.
I have always have had a great passion for computers, since when I was in middle school,
but it was mainly driven by video games.
I really began enjoying tinkering
a couple of years ago, when I first tried
- miserably - to install Arch Linux in my old Acer Laptop

In recent times I found myself to be really interested in
combat sports. I practice Buhurt,
which I'm really fond of.
Naturally fighting is not my only passion.
I do enjoy literature, cinema, theater (I have been acting,
as an amateur,
for a long while now)
and I love the outdoors.
I am also trying to learn some manual labour through the use of power tools or bare hands:
"Things making" is a creative ways in which I love wasting time.
I enjoy nice food (and drinks, I love tea) as well.
I love (orange) cats.

The former will hold general information about the different topics related to that subject.
The latter is composed by pages which will have a more in depth analysis on topics which I believe deserve more space throughout this site.
Should you waste your time here?
You shouldn't. I don't want to entitle myself with degrees that I do not have. Out there is full of people more qualified than who is writing this. I am just a self taught nobody who is willing to share his experience with other people. So if you really insist I am more than glad to have you here, but I don't pretend to be taken seriously 100% of the time: I don't and I can't see a reason for you to not do the same.
