Sports

I have never been a sports guy up until my nineteenth birthday, when I begun practicing HMB (buhurt). Nonetheless I've always loved the outdoor world: hiking, camping, skiing, fishing etc. Here you can find my adventures divided into buhurt and outdoors.

HMC: mainly Buhurt

Historical medieval combat is one of the reasons I first decided to join my local Medieval reenactors group. I mainly practive buhurt, which is a team sport in which two factions of 3, 5, 12, 30, 150 (and so on) members fight each other.
Fights are not coreographed, people are really beating the hell out of each other in full plate armour, and trust me it is a lots of fun.
Accepted "tools of pain" are:

  • Shields2.
  • Swords.
  • Axes.
  • Long Axes.
  • Polearm/Two handed Axe.
If full impact is too much for you there are also duels, which I don't like that much since most of them are limited due to safety reasons (the only way to kill a knight is to thrust them, hence no thrusting, which limits the fighters arsenal). A great middle ground is profight, which can be summarized into Medieval MMA.

Outdoor

I love the outdoors and outdoor activities, mainly hiking and "bushcraft".
I am not a profesional hiker, nor a guide but I really love "touching grass". I am slowly but surelly getting into mountaineering. Just give me my daily dose of adrenaline.
